What it is
A hand-carved crystal tortoise, roughly seven centimetres. In Vastu the tortoise is a figure of patience — it carries its house, it moves slowly, it lives long — and it is kept in the home as an emblem of stability and gathered, unhurried prosperity.
We carve these in either green aventurine or clear quartz; we confirm which stone your piece is on WhatsApp before it ships.
Who it suits
- A home or a shop entrance, which is the traditional placement.
- Families who want a Vastu object that is not a large or expensive intervention.
- Anyone who prefers a figure to a raw stone.
- A housewarming gift — it is the piece we are most often asked for as one.
How it is used
Placed facing into the home from the entrance, or in the North of the house, on a small plate or a bed of rice. Not on the floor, and not in a bathroom.
Many families change the rice under it each month. A placement guide comes with the piece.
What it does not do
- It does not correct a Vastu fault in a building. Real Vastu problems are about layout, direction and use of space, and no ornament substitutes for advice on those.
- It does not guarantee money, a job, a marriage or an examination result. Nobody can promise you that, and we will not.
- It is not a medicine. It does not treat, cure or prevent any physical or mental illness, and it must never replace your doctor's advice or prescribed treatment.
- It does not protect a house from anything in a literal sense. It is a traditional emblem, and we would rather say so plainly.
Care & authenticity
Hand-carved from natural crystal — green aventurine or clear quartz, confirmed with you on WhatsApp before dispatch. Carving marks and small internal fractures are normal in natural stone. Energised before dispatch.
Wipe with a dry cloth. Cleanse monthly by resting it on fresh rice or on a selenite plate. Keep it off the floor and out of wet rooms.
