What is this remedy?
Crystals — amethyst, rose quartz, aventurine, tiger eye and their kin — are semi-precious stones used as gentle, supportive companions: worn as bracelets, kept on desks and bedsides, held in practice. They are the soft-spoken end of the stone tradition.
Why it is traditionally used
Where a Jyotish gem is a prescription-grade amplifier for one planet, crystals are traditionally associated with moods and intentions — calm, focus, warmth, protection. Their gentleness is the point: they support without demanding a diagnosis.
When it is used
Whenever gentle support is welcome: an anxious season, a new workspace, a practice corner, a thoughtful gift. They are also the sensible first step for anyone drawn to stones but not yet ready for a full gemstone consultation.
How it is practised
Choose by intention (our free two-minute quiz helps, and the birth-details reading goes deeper), wear or place the stone where its job is, and cleanse it periodically — moonlight, or rest on a selenite plate. Every piece from our Atelier arrives already cleansed and energised.
Who should consult before doing it
Crystals are safe to choose freely. Consult when you are tempted to use a crystal as a substitute for a Jyotish prescription — a strained Saturn needs more than an amethyst — or when stones are being bought compulsively to quiet an unquiet season.
Common mistakes
- Expecting prescription-grade results from a gentle companion
- Never cleansing pieces that absorb a household's weather daily
- Collecting twenty stones instead of working with two
- Buying dyed or synthetic pieces from unverified sellers
A gentle note: remedies are shared here for education, in the spirit of tradition. They support reflection and steadiness; they are not a guarantee of outcomes and never a substitute for medical, legal, psychological or financial advice. Whether a particular remedy suits you is read from your full birth chart — please consult first.
